Serving Salem, Keizer, Albany, Corvallis and beyond, we aim to promote the professional role for the volunteer manager, help our members provide meaningful volunteer experiences, and encourage active participation of volunteers in the community
MVVMA is a volunteer-led organization. The leadership team is elected and appointed annually by membership, and is responsible for the oversight of the organization's operations including programming, marketing, membership and financial management.

All MVVMA positions are volunteer-based, and low time commitment. In around 5.5 hours per month, you can help MVVMA be the best organization it can be! Our Leadership team has spread out responsibilities so the workload is manageable, and we cultivate a collaborative and supportive team atmosphere so you're never on your own.
Perfect for those “big idea” people. The MVVMA Content Lead themes the meetings and leads the discussion about format. Should it be a round table, a Q and A with an expert, or a sharing session on a particular subject? You don’t have to know everyone in the community or be an expert yourself, but be curious and want to connect people with content they would find interesting or helpful.
If you’re an extrovert with a knack for facilitating group activities, Meeting Lead might be for you! As the MVVMA Meeting Lead, you’ll draft agendas and minutes for MVVMA meetings, send meeting reminders, and coordinate day-of meeting logistics. You’ll also facilitate the meetings and keep everything running on time.
